Warung Bunana: Roti Canai & Teh Tarik

This coffee shop serves Malaysian Indian foods, mainly a wide selection of roti canai. Roti canai is similiar to roti prata in Malaysia/Singapore, but tossed and fried in slight different way. It has almost puff-like skin and actually fluffier than roti prata. The good thing about this coffee shop, they only make the roti after you order, so while it takes some times to be ready, you get a fresh hot roti. Other than plain roti canai which is served with plain curry sauce (as pictured), they also have savoury types (e.g. with egg, onion, meat, cheese, and chicken/lamb curry – second picture is onion egg canai and chicken curry) or the sweet ones (chocolate, banana, sweetened milk, apple cinnamon etc). Their teh tarik also worth mentioning, as it tastes exactly like the original ones sold in Malaysia or Singapore. Other cold/hot drinks also available. This is one of our favourite supper place, but they only open until 10pm daily (last order).

Location: There are three branches, Jl. Raya Kerobokan (about 300m before Lio Square, opp Bank Danamon), Jl. Raya Bypass Sanur (about 200m after Kopi Bali House in Kuta direction), and Jl. Uluwatu II (about 200m from Jenggala Keramik)

Price: Roti canai from IDR 6,000 – up, Teh tarik for IDR 8,000
